The years you spend at Furman will be some of
the most exciting and formative years of your
life - as you decide what God wants you to do
with your life, as you contemplate new ideas, and
as you develop new and life-long friendships.
John Mellencamp once wrote, "Everyone needs
a hand to hold on to." The writer of the
Book of Proverbs puts it another way, "A
friend is always a friend." Through these
words we realize the importance that friendship
and fellowship plays as we journey through
life. Without support from others, life can be
an extremely lonely experience.
Through PWF we hope to help you in this journey as we:
- worship God
- seek to grow in our faith
- develop friendships which will encourage and sustain us
- reach out to others in the name of Christ
